This online course will give the learner an opportunity to explore the different regions of France focusing on food, culture, history, and language in order to gain an appreciation for France, French people and become familiar with their daily life.
Students will take an online pre-test to determine what they already know about French History, famous monuments, sightseeing locations and points of interest in France. Students will then navigate the links to read and learn about French history and places of interest in France. Students will then post their responses to topics on the class discussion board, participate in online games, assignments, activities and project to demonstrate the understanding and knowledge of French history and sightseeing by answer multiple choice questions, seeking out answers to “Scavenger Hunt” questions based on the online readings and Youtube videos.
