OBJECTIVES: Students will demonstrate an ability to use simple basic French greetings and conversation by participating in online games, activities, and quizzes with 80% accuracy in 8 out of 10 assignments. 

 

Students will take an online pre-test to determine what they already know how to say in French. Students will then navigate the links to learn, practice and play games to help acquire basic French conversational skills and French vocabulary. Students will listen to questions in French by a online Voki character and create their own Voki character to respond in French recording their responses to basic French conversational questions and then upload their Voki to the class site.

Learn Greetings & Simple Conversations

1. Listen to the French Greetings by clicking the audio button to the right of the French words. Repeat the words in French as you hear them. Practice pronunciating and learning how to spell the words and their meanings as many times as necessary.

Complete the words of the refrain (chorus) then put the last stanza of the song in order by numbering them 1 for the first line, 2 for the second line and so on.

Choose a scene from the music video using 3 - 4 of the boxes; think of the lyrics in the song  and the thoughts of the characters in the scene. Write a dialogue you think is taking place and draw the characters in the scene.
